When the COVID-19 pandemic upended the LA Phil’s 2019-20 season, video came to the rescue—most notably with the company’s August 2020 “Play Your Part” virtual fundraiser, which I personally produced and edited from my home studio.

A Starry Night
Hosted by singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile, the 55 minute stream included virtual appearances by Gustavo Dudamel, Thomas Wilkins, Julie Andrews, John Williams, and members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Youth Orchestra Los Angeles.
Voices in Sync
The virtual concert included 5 songs by Brandi Carlile, one of which included musicians performing asynchronously. An opening performance featured a string quartet that I filmed and recorded alone due to strict COVID protocols. And the stream's finale included some 40 young musicians performing together, from their homes.
