Many young people struggle to connect to their cultural roots. But this short doc introduces a new program bringing Africanist dance education to schools throughout Los Angeles. Commissioned by Artist Magnet for the California Arts Council, I had the privilege of working with students and faculty at Audubon Middle School in Leimert Park over several weeks.
