Many credit maestro Zubin Mehta with putting the Los Angeles Philharmonic on the map when he took the helm as music director in 1967. The orchestra commissioned this short documentary some 60 years later, when it named him Conductor Emeritus. This video, along with profiles of music directors Gustavo Dudamel and Esa-Pekka Salonen, were also featured on PBS and DVD releases.
